“Readings from First Corinthians: A Letter from God to a Celebrity-crazed, Sports-obsessed, Narcissistic, Pluralistic, Hypersexualized Society . . . and Church”

Join us for any and all of six Thursday evenings, February 15th, 22nd, 29th; March 7th, 14th, and 21st, from 7:00 – 8:00 pm at our church, at 78 Chrisman Ave. in Ventura. Everyone is welcome.

What you can expect if you come is a group of about 12+ men and women in a casual setting reading and reflecting on this ancient Corinthian Greek letter in light of life in Ventura, Oxnard, Camarillo, and Carp today. The pastor of our church, Adam Kaloostian, will lead our study. For those who are not church-type people, be assured the attitude of the discussion will be respectful and will address questions like, “How does the letter apply to those who don’t believe in God and the Bible?”. For those who are church-type people, we will also discuss questions like, “How do churches in history and today that believe in God and the Bible agree and disagree on the topics in the letter, and why does it matter?”

Please reach out with any questions and come join us for an hour on Thursday nights! We would love to meet you.

If you’d like us to reach out to you, fill out the form below, or feel free to call or text Pastor Adam Kaloostian at 805-535-5502.
